Shard Of Dawn
Shard Of Dawn is a narrative-driven mystery game I am developing with Godot Engine 4.5, blending exploration, interactive choices, and a cinematic tension. Every decision subtly shapes the story and alters the way the world reacts to the player — pushing them to question what is real… and what is merely perceived. The journey begins in the remote village of Val-Orée, where the protagonist awakens with fragmented memories and a strange unease. A rumor has spread: the village sorcerer is looking for you, and no one seems willing to explain why. As shadows grow longer and whispers fill the night, the player uncovers forgotten legends, unsettling truths, and the feeling that something ancient is about to awaken. Visually, the game combines 2D assets with simulated depth, creating an illusion of a flat world that breathes and responds. This unique style is reinforced by atmospheric sound design, subtle animations, and text-based effects that echo occult manuscripts and dreamlike visions. With Shard Of Dawn, my goal is to craft a story where every player experiences their own version of the truth, discovering — or missing — pieces of a larger mystery. The project highlights my skills in game design, art direction, interactive writing, and Godot development, while building a universe that will continue to expand over time.
