TROK'MOI ça

Trok’Moi Ça is a real personal project I designed and developed from scratch — a full-stack mobile app focused on cash-free exchanges between users. Unlike my conceptual projects, this one is fully functional, with an actual backend, frontend, database, authentication system, messaging, listing creation, notifications, and real user flows. It’s built as a modern, practical alternative to traditional second-hand platforms, specifically tailored for the French market. The concept behind Trok’Moi Ça is simple: instead of buying and selling, users exchange items or services directly. The challenge was creating an interface that feels as fluid and intuitive as mainstream marketplace apps, while keeping the experience lightweight and community-driven. Every feature is designed to reduce friction — quick listing creation, integrated chat, real-time updates, and a minimal, friendly UI. I implemented the entire technical architecture myself. The app uses a full Firebase stack: Firestore for real-time data, Firebase Auth for secure login, Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Storage for images, and custom backend logic. The front-end is coded in Flutter, making the app fully cross-platform and fast. All core features work in real time: new messages appear instantly, listings update automatically, and notifications are sent when someone interacts with a user’s post. The app includes a full messaging system, allowing users to negotiate trades directly. Creating a listing is simple and streamlined, with image uploads, geolocation, category selection, and automatic formatting. Users can bookmark offers, manage their profile, track their ongoing exchanges, and update the status of their listings. I built Trok’Moi Ça with a strong focus on user experience and accessibility. The interface is clean, modern, and rooted in my personal design style — bold typography (still based on Anton for continuity), rounded shapes, bright accent colors, and a focus on clarity. Everything feels consistent, intentional, and friendly. It’s designed to feel instantly familiar to French users who are used to apps like Vinted or Leboncoin, but with the unique twist of being a pure exchange platform. Even though it’s a personal project, I treated it like a professional product: real UX decisions, real technical implementation, a real backend, and a long-term roadmap. Trok’Moi Ça is one of my most complete works because it demonstrates my ability to design, develop, and ship a full stack application end-to-end, from idea to real functional product
